European Union Shipping Update & OMGNexus Interview Discussing Our Next Game In Development

We last reported April 12th was the anticipated timeline to start shipping and wanted to distribute an update with some good news, despite a delay!
We approved the packaging of European shipments last week and we received confirmation today that the European Union orders are currently showing booked in the hub system which means that the shipments should be in the hands of the courier and scanned to show tracking movement soon! All European Union orders are fulfilled by Intermail, will be coming from Germany, and are planned to be sent to backers this week!

Shipping Update & Retailer & Remaining Inventory Announcements

We received an update from most of the fulfillment hubs and wanted to share what we have learned with those backers that had games recently delivered or still have deliveries pending.
- In update #41, we shared that UK was expected to be completed by March 26th, and that Australia / New Zealand and Europe was targeting a completion date by April 9th.
- UK, Australia, and New Zealand fulfillment is now completed. If you didn't receive your game for some reason, please email us at [email protected] and we will have the hubs review the tracking information.
- Europe apparently is still a bit of a mess. Quartermaster Logistics shared with us that all of the EU changes have made the EU transfer of product and processing very slow. Quartermaster Logistics is still waiting on a confirmation that the shipment has made it to the hub in Germany, and will update us as soon as they hear back from them. At this point, the best timeline they could give us is that shipping will begin the week of April 12th, but they would update us if there are any changes there. We are so close to 100% fulfillment.

Last, but not least, more retailers have secured copies of the game and February/March have sold more games than anticipated. As a result, the Crimes in History: H. H. Holmes' Murder Castle (Base Game Only) is now 100% sold out from the inventory we maintain. We know The Gaming Goat had secured the last 18 games and Oddporium secured 2 copies. If anyone is interested in the base game versions, you can reach out to either of those Friendly Local Game Stores (FLGS).
We are also very excited to share that 22 retail companies have or are carrying Murder Castle across the following 32 locations. Shipping Update for UK, Australia, and Europe Backers

Like many of you, we have been anxiously awaiting updates from our fulfillment partner and finally received those updates today and wanted to share those updates for our International backers.
United Kingdom (fulfilled by ShipQuest)
- The UK is finally ready to begin fulfillment this week! All backers should receive their games by March 26th, but we anticipate the majority of UK backers will receive it within the first 5 days of it being shipped.
Europe (fulfilled by Intermail)
- EU fulfillment is running about 1-2 weeks behind the UK. Using those estimates, all backers should receive their games by April 9th but if everything stays on track, some should be delivered by the end of March. We'll have a better timeline estimate based on what we see from UK delivery timelines.
Australia / New Zealand (fulfilled by Aetherworks)
- We previously mentioned this was being fulfilled by VFI and have since learned VFI will be shipping it to Aetherworks for fulfillment. The ship from the last VFI regional hub to Aetherworks is already on the water and currently has an ETA of 3/23! Aetherworks should only need a day for unpacking and then would initiate fulfillment. We're anticipating backers in Australia will receive their games by April 9th, but most could start to receive their games by the end of March.
- New Zealand orders will be shipped from Australia and will need 1-1.5 weeks extra.

International Shipping Update

We are working with our fulfillment company (who is working with other fulfillment companies in other regional hubs) to provide a better update sometime next week, but wanted to share what we've learned and the information we have been chasing down.
UK Ports have had major delays as a result of Brexit and COVID impacts. Many products (even outside of board games) are being impacted because there's less people to perform the work. There could be an extra 1-2 week delay here but we are trying to gain visibility into how backed up the port is. ShipQuest is being utilized for UK and you can find their response to delays here. They regularly post status updates (weeky) but we should have better information next week that provide more detail then what they post on their weekly blog.
We are working to understand if the above UK timeline delays, will impact EU delivery timelines. We believe they will because the games are being shipped from a UK hub to an EU hub. EU deliveries will be sent by Intermail and the current projection is that backers will receive these games by the end of March.
AU and NZ orders will be sent via VFI. While we believed and previously communicated that these had been shipped to the AU and NZ ports for unpacking, we learned earlier this week that it was only to an intermediary hub before the Chinese New Year took into effect, which is celebrated for 16 days and essentially everything is shut down until after the holiday. The Chinese New Year ends February 26th and then activity will resume. So if you are an AU or NZ backer, your games haven't actually been shipped yet, they shipped from the China location but didn't quite make it out of the Asian hub network just yet.
We've requested more specific updates for each of these regional locations, but the assumption now is that games will be delivered in March. Thanks for being patient! We are really excited for you to receive the game and will have a more details for you in the next week - once our POC from fulfillment comes back from vacation and they can help provide more details regarding port delays and hub queues.

Fulfillment Update:
For all other backers who have not yet received your games, below is a current update, received from Quartermaster Logistics:
United States/ Canada from QML
- Fulfillment is complete with the exception of 22 backer orders on hold. The manufacturer had a late issue during the process and rather than hold everyone's orders up, they were able to send the majority of orders in the first batch that have been fulfilled in January. All 22 orders were base game versions.
- The remaining portion of this shipment has already cleared customs and is in route to the Quartermaster Fulfillment Center which should arrive no later than the next few days. Once Quartermaster receives this shipment, they will complete fulfillment of the remaining 22 orders.
Asia/Australia/New Zealand from VFI
- Fulfillment Timeline/Status Update: Shipping is finally underway at VFI! Australia orders should be completely fulfilled by the next week. Our best estimate would be that the other 2 hubs (Asia and New Zealand) should be complete by early March at the latest.
UK from ShipQuest (UK)
- There was a slight delay with the shipment reaching the port, however this is currently set to hit to be received at the UK port for unpacking on Feb. 9th.
- Fulfillment Timeline/Status: We are anticipating fulfillment to begin the week of Feb. 22nd, but will confirm this once the games have been confirmed to be received in their warehouse. The timeline to get all games into the mail stream should not take more than a week, but more likely 2 days.
EU from Intermail (DE)
- Fulfillment Timeline/Status: Quartermaster is anticipating fulfillment to begin the week of Mar. 8th. The timeline to get all games into the mail stream should not take more than a week, but more likely 2 days.
