Every game copy will receive a printed rulebook written in the English language. A web based rulebook translation is planned for German and French.

3D MINIS ARE NEXT!

Thank you to everyone! We are so excited to produce this game and want to thank you for all of your support. We have now achieved the 3rd stretch goal. This unlocks the first player skeleton key token upgrade which will now be a zinc alloy metal key with copper coating.
Also, 3 of the 4 Accomplice reward levels have been backed which unlocks 3 new and additional room tiles to all backer game copies!
With just over a week left before the campaign ends, we wanted to share some exciting news based on backer feedback...
The 3D player mini stretch goal has moved up to become the VERY NEXT stretch goal!! The 3D minis will be included in the game once the project funding achieves a total of $54,263. There will be a total of 7 minis (6 characters + Holmes) included with this stretch goal. If this stretch goal is not achieved, we will survey all game backers to see if we have at least 100 people interested in the minis to determine if they can be incorporated as an add-on option once the campaign ends. We will have more information on the minis as we get closer to the unlock or once the campaign ends. The updated stretch goal roadmap with this change has been added to the campaign page and can also be seen below.

Rulebook Translation

Every game copy will receive a printed rulebook written in the English language. In addition, a QR code will be included to link directly to the rulebook. Because our board game is beginning to get more international exposure, we have had requests for our final rulebook to be translated into Spanish, German, Italian, Polish, and French. Once the Kickstarter campaign ends, each backer will be provided a survey through our pledge manager to indicate if they desire a translated language of our rulebook and to select an available language option for the translated rulebook. If there are at least 10 backers for each desired language listed above, then we will pay to translate the rulebook in that language and add an additional QR code to link directly to that translated rulebook. Rulebooks translated in a different language than English will only be provided in a web format for you to view or print. This will allow us to offer our game to more people without increasing costs to backers!

Great news for all backers!! We are now 129% funded and the 2nd stretch goal has been unlocked which upgrades the evidence bag to a durable cotton bag with drawstring. The next stretch goal unlocks once the project raises $43,463 in funding and upgrades the first player token skeleton key to a zinc alloy metal key with a copper coating! The stretch goals roadmap has been updated on the campaign page.
Regarding the social media unlocks:
#1 - We only need 359 additional followers on Twitter (Click here to follow us on Twitter - https://twitter.com/concepts_gaming) and need 190 Kickstarter page shares on Twitter with #HolmesIsComing. To help everyone with this social unlock, please share the exact Kickstarter link below on any social media, blog, website, etc. and any backer that backs using this link will count as 10 shares each!
#2 - We only need 130 more likes on the Facebook page (click the picture below to visit and "Like" our page) and 216 more heart clicks to become a fan of our board game on the Board Game Geek (BGG) website (click the 2nd picture below to visit the BGG site). Once both of these are achieved, backers of the game will be in the driver's seat to help choose 2 new event cards to be added to the game.

Crimes in History: H. H. Holmes’ Murder Castle was funded within 5 days and have now reached 108% of our funding goal! We want to thank EACH and every one of you for supporting this project! Without you, we would not be able to bring this game to life!
President Grover Cleveland concluded the Opening Address for the Columbian Exposition in Chicago with the following words:
"Let us hold fast to the meaning which underlies this ceremony, and let us not lose the impressiveness of this moment. As by a touch the machinery that gives life to this vast Exposition is now set in motion, so at the same instant let our hopes and aspirations awaken forces which in all time to come shall influence the welfare the dignity, and the freedom of mankind."

Stretch Goals
Now that the project is funded, we can start to work on the stretch goals and social unlocks! Because the project reached funding, the Ferris wheel upgrade has been unlocked for all backers! In case you missed it on the campaign page, below is a list of our stretch goals and social unlocks.
Next Up: The evidence bag upgrade to a durable cotton bag with drawstring will be unlocked once project funding has reached $35,363.
On Deck: The metal key upgrade to a zinc alloy metal key with a copper coating will be unlocked once the project funding has reached $43,463.
Social Media Unlocks
19th Century Murder Castle Tweets: Ever wonder what people would have tweeted while playing Murder Castle in the 19th Century? We have started to create hashtags using common phrases and words from the 19th Century and have paired those phrases with fun and absurd moments observed during playtesting sessions. Once the game is received, this will allow you to post while you play by tweeting these hashtags once each is achieved during gameplay!
To achieve this social media unlock, we need a total of 1500 followers on Twitter. Currently, there are already 1,129 followers so just 371 remains. Additionally, we need at least 200 shares of our Kickstarter Campaign Page (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sethcooper/crimes-in-history-h-h-holmes-murder-castle?ref=dym9i8) with #HolmesIsComing included in the tweet.
2NEW Backer Inspired Event Cards: We will collect any ideas for 2 new event cards and distribute a survey to all backers once the campaign ends. The top 2 voted event cards will be incorporated into the game for all backers.
To achieve this social media unlock, we need a total 500 followers on the Blueprint Gaming Concepts page (https://www.facebook.com/BlueprintGamingConcepts/). Currently, there are already 343 likes so just 157 remains. Additionally, we would need 250 total fans on our Board Game Geek page (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/280430/crimes-history-h-h-holmes-murder-castle).
